My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I’m Monica!

Are you ready to meet your new best friend? Because I sure am! I’m a spunky, medium-sized bundle of joy, weighing in at a perfect 40 pounds. I was named after the fabulous Monica from the show “Friends,” and just like her, I’m full of energy and love to be the center of attention!

I was found wandering the streets with my best buddy, Chandler. We were quite the dynamic duo, and we still are! We were at the pound together, it was kind of scary, but the really nice people there arranged for Central Arizona Animal Rescue to come get us out of there. Although we don’t have to be adopted together, it would be a dream come true if we could stay as a pair. But if you’re just looking for one furry friend, I’m more than happy to be your one and only.

Here’s a little more about me:

I am around 2 years old, but I look and act like a playful puppy!

I am Medium in size, around 40 pounds which is just right for cuddles and adventures.

I like when it is Playtime! I’m a bit more active than Chandler, so I love running around and playing games.

I like being the center of Attention! I adore being around people and getting all the pets and cuddles. So Please don’t ignore me!

I am very Friendly, affectionate, and always ready for some fun. I love getting attention and I get so excited to see people that I sometimes jump up to say hello. I have been told I shouldn't jump up without being invited because it is not polite so I could use a bit of training to learn my manners.

I love going on Adventures! Whether it’s a walk in the park or a car ride, I’m up for it.

I don’t know how I am around cats. I haven’t had the chance to meet any yet, so I’m not sure how I’d react.

I am healthy. The team at Central Arizona Animal Rescue has prepared me for adoption by arranging my spaying. I have been vaccinated, treated for parasites, and microchipped to ensure I don't get lost. Now, I am all set and eager to find my forever home!

I don’t know if I have ever lived inside a house so I might need some help with house training, so you’ll need to be patient until I catch on to the program.

I’m currently waiting for my perfect match. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and lively companion, look no further! Whether you adopt me alone or with Chandler, I promise to bring endless joy and love into your life.

Come meet me and see if we’re a perfect match! I can’t wait to start our new adventure together.
