SADIE
Sadly, Sadie's human passed away and she was surrendered to a local shelter. In her grief, confusion and dislike of other cats, she was labeled as aggressive. After six long months waiting at the shelter, she was pulled by Lovepaws and placed in a loving foster home. Even when her foster mom slipped her into her carrier, she never displayed any aggression. She voiced her concerns with meows and cries but kept her paws to herself.
Sadie takes good care of her humans but also enjoys her own company. She promoted herself to supervisor in her foster dad's home office. His work bores her so she stays away from his desk. She purrs contentedly when she sits with her foster parents on the couch -- gently reminding her foster dad to pet her and crawling into her foster mom's lap for some female bonding. She rolls over to show off her beautiful belly and looks remarkably human when she sleeps on her side. Her chonkiness makes it hard to be stealthy, but she manages stairs with some grace and leaps onto beds and couches. Sadie's litterbox and scratching manners are top-notch! She's gets scared when people pick her up or try to turn her into a purrito but always keeps her paws to herself.
Sadie is living her best life when can gaze out the window, take a nap on something cozy and square-shaped, and have some time to herself while being close to her humans for a good chunk of time. Her favorite game is watching a wand toy go back and forth. When she feels like it, she'll grab it and hold on for dear life. Her favorite wet meal is seafood and she savors it to make it last longer. At the end of the day, she enjoys watching TV with her humans until they disappear for the night.
