Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**Dream is fostered in Jersey City, NJ**
Meet Dream🎇
💙 Dream's Updates Account: @o.dung2
1⃣ Health Condition
* Neutered: Yes.
2⃣ Rescue Story
* Dream was rescued from the Gimje Shelter along with his mother, Soonja, and six siblings. After being adopted internationally with #AdogsBori (#어독스별이), they were neglected, and then brought to a compassionate foster home. Later, Bori found a forever family but Dream is still alone.
3⃣ Basic Information
* With People: Is wary of strangers and may bark or get riled up if people try to greet him in the beginning. It would be better to approach him slowly. Becomes affectionate to familiar people, following them around, offering kisses and showing his belly.
* With Dogs: Approaches familiar dogs slowly and sniffs gently. May bark at new dogs who he sees at a distance because he is eager to say hi to them. Prefers to sniff and say hi calmly when meeting dogs up close.
* With Cats: Shows interest in cats, but is also scared of them so he doesn’t go near. Acts like he can’t see them if they’re up close!
* Separation Anxiety: Stays well alone without the symptom! Early in foster care, he has a bit separation anxiety with howling but currently rests calmly. Does comfortably with other dogs at the foster home.
* Potty Training: Uses 100% outdoor potty.
* Hygiene: Is generally calm during baths and brushing even though he occasionally expresses his discomfort through gentle nipping. Allows nail trimming by someone who he trusts. Runs away when he sees the toothbrush, but is good at getting his teeth brushed once it actually starts.
* Walks: Walks well in step but may pull on the leash a bit in new places or if he needs to potty urgently or encounters a squirrel. Is interested in other animals he encounters but does not chase them.
* Car Sickness: Jumps in the car if you open the door. Likes to lean on people. Sometimes pants due to car sickness.
4⃣ Special Notes
* Has mastered commands like "sit," "paw," "high five," “nose,” "lie down," and "turn around."
* Barks loudly when he hears loud noises or when unfamiliar people enter the home probably due to fear. Is quiet and calm in general.
* Shows possessiveness over toys and food, and growls at other dogs to keep them away. However, he doesn’t have any problems eating in the same space as his foster sibling.
* Runs and tries to guard his guardian if new dogs come running up.
* Tends to bark due to fear when male strangers or cyclists pass by.
* Needs to avoid duck meat, which causes diarrhea. Is okay to have chicken, turkey, beef, and pork.
