Wombat is a sweet and gentle 2-year-old cat whose story of resilience and hope tugs at the heartstrings. Despite being found on the streets in a severely malnourished and frail condition, she has shown an incredible capacity for love and affection. Her thin, sparsely covered fur and petite frame tell the story of a cat who was never meant to fend for herself outdoors. Now safe and cared for, Wombat is looking for a family who will shower her with the love she’s been deprived of for so long. She’s incredibly friendly, soaking up every bit of attention with gratitude and purring softly at each gentle touch. If you can open your heart and home to this precious girl, you’ll be rewarded with a lifetime of purrs and an endless bond of gratitude

Famous Fido was founded by Gloria Lissner who has been independently rescuing dogs from the death rows of kill shelters since 1975. She officially opened Famous Fido Rescue & Adoption Alliance in July 2010. All our dogs recieve the necessary vet care and treatment is never refused. Famous Fido has developed a full merchandise line, starting with our all natural dog treats to support our rescue efforts. Our products are available for purchase on our website. The mission of FFRAA is to form an alliance with similar organizations to increase community awareness, public consciences and create a No Kill Nation.
