My name is Astro!

We adopted Astro from the Maricopa County Animal Shelter in Feb 2023. He is approx 2 yrs old. He is a very energetic dog who loves to go on walks, loves to play catch, and tug of war. He is potty trained and uses a doggy door. He obeys simple commands. He does not bark at all, not sure he knows how. He is a very loving dog, loves to snuggle and it really breaks my heart to have to rehome him.

Astro needs a home with room to run and play. He needs owners who have time to fully train him and give him the attention he needs to help his energetic spirit. We rarely have people over so when we do, he becomes overly excited and leads to him jumping on them. He has not been around other dogs so he doesn’t know how to act and becomes very excited when he sees them. He is NOT aggressive. He has allergies and is on Apaquel. He is also on Fluoxetine for anxiety which has helped calm him a bit.
