Bandit was given to us by a stranger as a few weeks old kitten, and we decided to take him in. He is an extremely active and ferocious kitten, which we imagine is because we do not have a lot of time to really look after him. Our other cat - about four years old now - is a bit of an loner type who absolutely despises him. They fight all the time.
About a month and a half in his stay, this other cat got extremely sick and they needed to be separated, further reinforcing Bandit's isolation and neediness. He is a very active cat who needs a lot of play, so this only ended up making his biting and playing worse. Bandit's rough play has also reignited and worsened allergy symptoms (rashes) which do not go away in one of us.
Notes on key facts: It is unknown if Bandit really "hates" other cats, he just plays very rough and other cats may not be amenable to him.
If more pictures are needed, please ring back. He moves too much to get good shots.
