My name is Abby and I'm a Silky Terrier. I'm 9 yrs old and I weigh 8 lbs. I'm tan in color. I'm up to date on all our shots and will be spayed before going into my new home.

I'm not housetrained but we're working on it, but I'm crate trained. I am good with other dogs, children and cats.

I was surrendered by a backyard breeder. My coat is in poor shape because I was infested with fleas. I was treated for fleas and was dewormed too. I also was groomed. Now I'm ready to find my new forever home, will it be you?

All adopters are required to fill out an adoption application, agree to have a home check and agree to release your vet records to the rescue for a vet check. If approved, you will have a meet n greet with the dog. Adoption fees vary on each dog. All our rescues are fully vetted according to age and deemed healthy.

More about this rescue

We are a small no-kill rescue. We want to save the lives of innocent dogs, that have been abandoned, abused, or forced out of their homes, and provide quality medical care and place them into forever homes, and give them a second chance at life. SSCDR will also provide awareness of animal abuse and promoting the importance of being a responsible pet owner, socialization, vaccinating, spay/neuter, training, and good nutrition.
