For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
Hey there, I`m Jonas and I`m one cool pup! I may be a big guy, but don`t let that fool you - I`m a total softie at heart. I love meeting new people and making new friends. Whether it`s playing fetch, going for long walks, or just cuddling up on the couch, I`m always down for a good time. I`m working on mastering my manners, and with a little patience and some training, I know I`ll be the perfect pup. So what are you waiting for? Come on over and let`s be besties! I am fully grown at ~56lbs. How did I get here? Transferred from Asheville Humane Society as part of Hurricane Helene relief efforts.
~My adoption fee is $120.00.~

More about this rescue
The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) of Wake County is dedicated to creating a more humane community where every adoptable animal has a home. Each year the SPCA rehomes over 3,500 animals through its innovative adoption programs.
The mission of the SPCA is to transform the lives of pets and people through protection, care, education, and adoption.
The SPCA of Wake County is a local, independent, non-profit organization that receives no government funding or tax dollars. We rely almost entirely on private donations to fund our annual operating budget of $3 million. The SPCA of Wake County is not affiliated with, nor do we receive funding from the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
