Liza, a 2 year old German Shepherd, is still on her journey to find her forever home after being surrendered by her previous owner. Liza gets along well with other dogs and loves her people. While her first instinct is to bark at strangers, rest assured that she is all bark and no bite. Once she gets to know you, Liza is quick to welcome you into her circle and show you her affectionate side. Liza is both crate trained and potty trained and is non-destructive when left alone. One of Liza’s greatest joys in life is playing with a Frisbee! As part of her adoption, Liza’s new family will receive a two week board and train package with JP Dog Training. This program is designed to work closely with both Liza and her adopter, ensuring that they are well-equipped with the skills and knowledge needed for a successful transition into their new life together. This training will help reinforce her good behaviors and build a strong bond between Liza and her new family. If you think you could provide Liza with the loving home she deserves, please don’t hesitate to apply for adoption. You can find the application at www.rescuerowinc.org. Due to her breed, no apartments please!
*Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 2-4 business days.
*You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck
*Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row):
Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee
Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee
Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs.
