Miss Scarlet is as smart as she is sweet. A snuggle bug who adores everyone she meets. She needs a family who will enjoy a curious mind, energetic spirit, and devoted attachment. She loves to run and play chase, but also loves to sleep curled up next to (or more often laying on top of) anyone who happens to sit still long enough. From the moment she was let into a house she eagerly started exploring and testing the new environment, so once she gets more acclimated, we expect she will love training and puzzle toys. She gets along with other dogs but is a bit too playful for very small children. She does like to chase the chickens at her foster home but is very responsive to being told to stop since she loves people-pleasing even more. She is an excellent adventure companion as she has great vehicle passenger manners and enjoys getting to see new places. She can be a little shy at first but is quick to decide you are her new best friend as soon as you offer your lap for snuggles.
