Meet Limbo: Your Future Best Friend!

Limbo is a sweet and loving boy who's ready to steal your heart! This gentle soul came to Anderson Humane in need of a little extra care, having arrived incredibly skinny. With our dedicated supervision, Limbo has already gained over 5 pounds in just a month, but he's still on a monitored diet to help him reach his ideal weight.

Limbo adores human companionship and craves attention, making him the perfect cuddle buddy. He's fantastic with kids and has a knack for being gentle and loving with everyone he meets. If you're busy and not giving him enough affection, don't be surprised if you hear a good hound bark-he's just letting you know he's ready for some love!

Not only is Limbo a sweetheart, but he's also an excellent walker. He hasn't had a single bathroom accident during his time in the shelter, proving he's a quick learner and a well-mannered pup.

Our dogs and puppies go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (7 months and over), and up to date on core vaccines, heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.

A one-of-a-kind animal welfare organization, Anderson Humane focuses on creating and supporting mutually beneficial relationships between people and animals. Anderson Humane is a resource for pet owners, providing information and services to provide better care for their pets. Services such as our Low-Cost Vaccination, Dental, and Spay/Neuter Clinics offer affordable veterinary care options, preventing owners from having to give up their pets simply because they can’t afford care. On the horizon are additional programs to keep pets in homes, such as a pet food pantry, affordable pet training options, and temporary housing for pets when families are in crisis.
