My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey, Sup? I'm Rhea, yeah that's right- Ray spelled with some flavor...you see, I'm a hipster dude and cool to the core. If you look closely, you'll see my blond beard. I've taken my shades off in order to reveal my handsome face to you. I dig eating, playing and sleeping. No long walks on the beach for me thank you very much. My musical taste runs to funk and folk-- like you'd expect anything else?? Oh yeah, and I'm vegan. Foster Mum is telling me nope Rhea- you're NOT vegan. I was born April 5th, 2024 and am 1 of 6 kits in my fam- 3 boys and 3 girls!. I would do best in a home with another playful buddy or perhaps you spend a lot of time at home? I'm gentle, playful, smart and will love you forever- please promise me the same. You will be my world, I know I will only be one part of yours, but I promise, I'll make it the best part. I would love to be adopted with one of my gorgeous siblings so if you're interested in a pair just let me know- I'll hook you up with the best few- not my sister who I'm quite sure is plotting my demise....or maybe I listen to too many true crime podcasts? I've had my big op and first set of shots and I'm very excited to find my forever family. Please review the adoption process and polices at cowichancatrescue.org and then submit your application! Hope to meet up soon...Rhea ...~meow~

All kittens are vet checked spay/neutered, given their first vaccinations, and treated for parasites before adoption.

Cats and kittens not suitable for adoption through the various events are adopted out directly from the foster homes. Cost may vary depending on the special needs of the kitten.

More about this rescue

Cowichan Cat Rescue is a federally registered charity, entirely staffed by volunteers and funded by donations, operating a trap, neuter, and return program (TNR) for feral cats in the Cowichan Valley since 1999. We take in all kittens found young enough to socialize, foster them until they are spayed/neutered and vaccinated, and then adopt them out to forever homes. We also try to find barn and warehouse homes for feral cats which must be relocated due to loss of habitat or problems with property owners.

Find out more about us and our programs on our website at www.cowichancatrescue.org or visit us on our Facebook page.
