This helps Bay Area German Shepherd Dog Rescue with pet care costs.
Hi, I'm Loki! I'm a 6-year-old boy and people say I am a stunning GSD. I have really thrived in my foster home and am just under 100 pounds now. My beautiful black coat is growing back thick and shiny and I have done a great job meeting new people. I've got good house manners and sleep quietly beside my foster's bed at night.
I still need practice on leash not getting wound up when I see things in motion or other dogs. My foster mom is working with me on that though and I had lots of fun playing off lead with other dogs. I also often hang out with a senior small dog and just ignore him.
If I can't go along with you, I'll wait patiently in the house without getting into any trouble. My foster leaves me loose in the house and I have been respectful of that.
Oh, and I LOVE my ball! I carry it around with me everywhere in the house—it's like my little sidekick. I am a BIG boy. If you love tall, dark and incredibly handsome boys who have just enough mystery to keep it interesting then I may be your match.
I hope you’d like to meet me. I’ll be waiting in Walnut Creek.
You like this dog...now what?
Please take 3-4 minutes and complete our application form at: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/42179/generic
Our adoption team will spring into action to help you adopt this dog. If you have already completed the application and are approved, please phone or text your adoption counselor and we will set up a meeting. Not sure, foster first and adopt later!
BAGSR is always in need of fosters. There is an overwhelming number of dogs who need our help and the more fosters we have, the more dogs we can save. BAGSR covers expenses, including food. Fosters provide the love and a soft place to crash.
