I'm Sassy Pants, the most ridiculously fun, totally spaztastic, most gorgeous cat girl you’ll ever meet! I was found in the country cornered by some big dogs in a carport, but I was very brave and a nice lady saved me. Now I love being an indoor fluffy house cat and I'm searching for my furever person to snuggle up with every night.My love language? PLAY! If you’ve got a fishing toy, flying bug, or even just a crumpled piece of paper, I’m your girl. I’ll chase it, pounce on it, and then probably run around the house like my tail’s on fire—because, well, I’m a total spaz in the best possible way. I love to play chase and hide and seek with my cat friends and then I get super fluffed up with excitement when they find me!

But don’t let my playful antics fool you. When the day is done and it’s time to hit the hay, I’m right there with you, snuggled up in bed, purring you to sleep with my motor-like purrs and wrapping you in the softest fur blanket you’ve ever felt. I’m basically a living, breathing teddy bear with a serious playful side.

During the day, I moonlight as the ultimate co-worker. Need a break? I’m here to provide a giggle with my wild zoomies or a stress-busting cuddle. I’ve also got a side gig as the official household greeter. Every guest? I’ll charm them within seconds with my purrs, head butts, and those irresistible snuggles that I’m famous for. And did I mention my fur? It’s softer than a cloud made of marshmallows—seriously, people will be asking where you got that luxury cat fur blanket from. My estimated birth date is May 5, 2024. All applications are submitted to an adoption board for approval to ensure a happy forever home for both owner and pet. In effort to reduce the possibility of the pet being returned, adopters are carefully screened to be sure that the personality of both the pet and adopter are a good match. We will be in contact with you during this process.

Puppies are ready to go home after their 2nd of 3 shots and spay/neuter are complete. A $50 deposit will hold the puppy of your choice. The 3rd. shot is included in the adoption fee.

All pets are to be kept as indoor, non-working, members of your family and are spayed and neutered before being adopted. These pets also receive all appropriate vaccinations and are microchipped.

A safe pet home visit is included in the adoption fee.

Take Me Home Pet Rescue is a 100% nonprofit organization committed to reducing the homeless pet population by removing dogs and cats from shelters and other unfortunate situations and having them spayed, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped before being adopted to their forever families.

We consists of a small core group of volunteers who care about the welfare of our homeless pets. We are located in Richardson, Texas and survive solely from your generous donations and fundraiser's (after fundraiser...after fundraiser!). All of our pets live in our homes as we do not have an actual facility. Because they live within the dynamics of the foster families and are exposed to children of all ages and other pets, we find that that our foster cats and dogs are more adoptable as they have already been socialized to live in a family environment.

We have been in existence since April 2008 and have already rescued over 600 dogs and cats from local kill shelters and other unfortunate situations.

All dogs and cats are spayed and neutered before being adopted. These pets also receive all appropriate vaccinations and are microchipped. In effort to reduce the possibility of the pet being returned, adopters are carefully screened to be sure that the personality of both the pet and adopter are a good match.
