Bubblicious entered Bonita Shelter as a stray with a filthy, overgrown coat covered with foxtails and plant debris. For his comfort, the shelter performed a sedated shave down, and Bubblicious also had neuter and dental surgery while there.
When Bubbicious wasn't claimed, we scooped him up on September 30th to become a Frosted Face. He is about 8 years old, weighs just under 12 lbs., and despite all he's been through, is a super sweet cuddle bug!
Bubblicious is currently on an extended Frosted Fling, and we have learned a lot about what he is like in a home environment. His Fling Mom shares:
"My time with Bubblicious is drawing to a close. He has been such a wonderful companion. He is the most "go with the flow dog I have encountered, and I have been fostering for 12 years.
* He loves to snuggle and likes to be held.
* He is wonderful in the car. He settles in and stays in his bed for the entire time.
* He loves mealtime! He is food motivated but NOT a resource guarder. He never showed a sign of aggression with my 3 dogs. He didn't even seem to mind one of them checking out his bowl after he had finished eating.
* He is very playful and loves morning playtime. He has not played with my dogs, but over time that may have happened.
* He became VERY good at stairs. Initially unwilling to go up or down, he got the hang of it and is now a pro.
* He sleeps through the night like a champ. The first night he slept in his kennel, but after that I put him in our bed because that is where the pack was, and he was a honorary member of the pack.
* He embraces all people and attaches quickly. He does not like being left behind and will bark to express his displeasure. He will settle down after a bit though. The only other time he barked was when he thought I should be feeding him. He was usually right!
* He is great on leash and loves walking with my dogs. He does get tired if the walk is too long.
I adore Bubblicious. He has a wonderful personality and makes you feel like the most important person in the world. Who doesn't love that?"
