***** Jamie is looking for a special home so he is a member of our Lonely Hearts Club and his adoption fee has been reduced to $100. He is staying in a quieter part of the shelter-please ask at the Adoption Center desk to meet him*****
I'm an adventurous spirit with plenty of energy and a big heart! I've already learned lots of cool tricks, including basic commands like sit and down, as well as touch, stay, leave it, and shake. One of my favorite things to do is play fetch-I'm great at bringing the toy back and dropping it for another round! Sometimes I get so excited to meet new people that I forget my manners and jump up to say "Hello!"
I'm looking for someone with experience in positive reinforcement training who can help me continue learning and growing. I'm eager to please, love treats, and can't wait to show you how much fun training together will be. I also enjoy playing with other dogs, but I need slow introductions and supervised play to ensure we're all comfortable.
Since I get a bit too interested in cats, I'd do best in a home without them. And while I'm learning to be more polite, I might be a little too energetic for small kids right now.
If you're looking for an active, enthusiastic companion to join you on adventures, I might be the perfect match! Come meet me-I'm ready to be your new best friend!
Medical History: I appear to be a healthy young adult, but it's always a good idea to set up an appointment with my new vet soon, so that we can meet and make plans to keep me happy and healthy!
Weight: 61 pounds
Adoption Fee: $100
