My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

wagoninn.rescuegroups.org

Winston James is a very handsome boy who is looking for a home! Winston James is now in a NJ foster home!

Winston James was in foster in Louisiana with several other dogs and in NJ with one other young, playful dog. He is full of energy and loves his family and loves to play! Winston James is a great dog who is doing really well with his foster family. He is housebroken now and barks when he needs to go out. He was great with the kids in the LA foster home too.   He is crate trained and great on the leash. It seems like he is best with dogs his size and energy level and may be too much for older, smaller dogs.

Winston James   is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. He had a hip injury that was surgically corrected and he recovered wonderfully. He jumps around and runs like it never happened which is exactly what we want to see. Winston James completed treatment for heartworm and is now negative. His adoption fee is $450.

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.

More about this rescue

Wag On Inn Rescue, A NJ recognized 501(C)3 organization, located in Freehold, NJ, is a small group of dedicated volunteers, trying to rehome dogs and cats. We have a variety of animals looking for their forever home. The animals are worked with individually to be socialized with other animals and with people. Some of the dogs are obedience trained and housebroken. Special care is also taken in working with animals on basic house manners. We have two types of ways we help the animals. One is our rescue program, where we pull animals from shelters and they stay with us until adopted, we also have a "referal program" where we help owners of pets try to find them new homes. with this program, the pets stay with their owners until a new home is found, and adopted from the owner.
