Age: 5 months (as of 11/13/2024)
Weight: 36.2 lbs (as of 10/30/2024)
Location: RI
This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped.
Aries’ foster family reports that he is an affectionate, loving, and fun guy who is eager to please. Aries loves squeaky toys, chew toys, and playgroup, but he’s also down for some cuddling on the couch with his humans. He can be nervous meeting new people and would prefer a calmer home who would be willing to go slow with introductions.
He is calm in the car in his crate but may drool a bit. He is interested in new places, but he may be timid initially until he feels comfortable with his surroundings.
Being so young, Aries would love to find a family who has the time and patience to raise a puppy; he has so much to learn! He has been doing well with housetraining. He is working on feeling comfortable in the crate as well as his leash skills.
We strongly recommend that all our dogs - and especially puppies - attend obedience classes because you get to learn commands together, it offers an opportunity for confidence building and socialization for the dog, and it also helps to strengthen that ever-important bond between the dog and his human family. It’s lots of fun, too!
Puppies are a lot of work and require a strong commitment to teaching them obedience, socializing with other dogs and people, playing with them and loving them to pieces. It takes a lot of time, energy and patience to bring up a puppy and it’s totally worth it!
If you're ready to make that awesome commitment to bring up Aries, then fill out an application today! Wet puppy kisses and warm, furry snuggles are ready to come your way!
An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not by breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
