Hugh is an extremely smart dog.

Hugh would be well matched with an owner that loves the outdoors and going on walks.

Hugh is highly attuned to the humans around him and readily picks up on new commands.

Hugh is outstanding with young kiddos. He knows how to be playful yet considerate when playing chase or tug-of-war with small children.

Hugh loves to give hugs and kisses. He gives the absolute warmest welcomes when we get home.

Hugh easily rides in the car. He is curious about what's going on when he first gets in the car, but he easily settles in and goes to sleep in his designated seat.

He somewhat pulls when on a leash, but overall minds when he's on a leash. Hugh is kennel trained.

Hugh is an active dog, that isn't too hyper. He loves affection and attention. He definitely aims to please.
