Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Lupine is a young affectionate female Tabby/Torbie (with a few cream-colored toes!) who’s looking for a loving forever home.
She’s now approximately 11 months old, housetrained and great with her litterbox; also spayed, microchipped and up to date on all her kitty shots and vet care.
Lupine loves to purr and get head scratches. She’s also playful and very smart. She loves to watch squirrels out on the deck through the French doors, and is fascinated by reflections in the windows.
She’s also a big fan of TV. Sit in bed with a laptop watching YouTube and she’ll want to be in your lap focusing on all the screen action — especially if you pull up an aquarium or bird video!
Lupine’s kitty superpower is her ability to leap into the sky (well, not really.... but she can jump up to a high window ledge from the floor, and she can leap two feet in the air to catch a feather wand toy!). We think she'd love a high kitty tower.
Lupine is adoptable either alone or with her adorable baby, Blackberry. Adopting two kitties at the same time means more fun -- plus they’ll happily sleep, eat, and play together all day and when you’re out and about.
We're recommending a home with no kids under the age of 10, please and thanks.
Lupine is being fostered in the Boulder area.
Also, Blackberry and Lupine have their very own YouTube video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8vuDjupFng&t=4s
For more info and/or to apply to adopt Lupine (either individually or with her baby Blackberry) send us an email at SummitDogRescue@gmail.com, telling us a bit about yourself, your home environment and your lifestyle. A volunteer will get back to you shortly. Thanks.

If everyone agrees this is a good match, the board approves the adoption.

Additional adoption info
First you must fill out an application which we will review. Then we will do a phone interview, reference check and finally a home visit before a dog is placed in your home. We ONLY adopt to homes where the dog is an indoor dog, part of the family and treated as such. We stress excellent nutrition, proper training and follow up with all our adopters.
We are probably have one of the more thorough and difficult adoption processes... and we love that people want to adopt and don't want to discourage adopters! So please, if you're in a hurry, or not an exceptional furever home - please try other rescues or a SHELTER is a great option too!
