Currently Living at:Foster in the DC area!

I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I'm Atlas, and I am a cute little kitten! I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be my kitten self. I'm coming with a lot of siblings, two kittens are super fun!

What the Shelter Says About MeAtlas - Tiny but mighty sums up this fella. Atlas is the only tabby with no white in his litter and he was the runt. Atlas arrived in foster at four weeks old and if you ask his foster mom he would have bottle fed forever if she would have been willing to let him! This boy has gorgeous eyes; they are a very unique color! The pictures do not do him justice. Atlas is a kitty who needs to be seen! He is very playful and loves Pate now. But due to being bottle fed this boy loves to be held. He loves to play with any and everything ...foster mom says that he and his litter find something new to play with every day! Atlas has been socialized with a dog and other cats and kittens in his foster home so he is likely to adjust quickly in his new home.

What My Foster Says About Me

Atlas is playful
Albert is curious and cuddly (he's also the biggest)

Really they all love to play with each other and I'm sure two would be happy to go together. They always use the litter box and are great with people.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The adoption process begins when you submit an adoption application either online or at an adoption event. The individual responsible for the dog you are interested in adopting - a position we call the “adoption coordinator” - will then set up a time to discuss your application over the telephone. The adoption coordinator will check your vet reference to make sure all current and past pets were kept up-to-date with their shots and medical care. The adoption coordinator will also set up a home visit with one of our trained volunteers. That individual will come to your home to ensure that it is a safe environment, to confirm that everyone in the home is on board with adopting a dog, and to discuss any other questions you may have about dog adoption!

Our adoption events are held each weekend. A schedule of times and locations can be found at www.luckydoganimalrescue.org.
