MISS NALA NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!
Name: Miss Nala Best Guess for Breed: Shepherd and terrier mix
Best Guess for Age: 8 months as of September 2024 SEX: Female
Approximate Weight: 26 lbs as of 9/10/24; she is still growing!
Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with kids or cats but she can be tested.
Currently Living at: DC area foster home.
Special adoption considerations: After being rescued from the streets, Miss Nala was pretty scared. However, she has been making great strides. We think she would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure she can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to continue to build confidence.
Miss Nala is Looking For: Her forever home! This sweetie is barely out of puppyhood and being from a small island off Puerto Rico, hasn't seen nearly enough of the world yet. She's eager to have her own humans for long sniffy walks (all those new smells in the DC area!), romps in parks, and all the adventures they can dream up! She'd love to make pup pals along the way, and to attend dog school to show how super smart she is. Most of all, though, she wants to be a well-loved dog, to know where she belongs - and upon whom to bestow all the adoring gazes and happy tail wags she's stockpiling. What do you say? Does Miss Nala get to be your loyal companion?
What My Foster Says About Me: Miss Nala wants to be a lap dog when she grows up, and now. She still has her puppy energy and she can get the zoomies and be a jumping bean. She is sweet, soft, loving and cuddly.
Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online at bit.ly/adoptaluckydog .
