Candy Land is a sweet three-month-old female kitten with a playful spirit that perfectly matches her whimsical name. Just like the classic game, life with Candy Land is full of fun and surprises. She loves to explore her world with wide-eyed wonder, and you'll often find her in playful escapades with her fellow kittens.

Candy Land can take a moment to warm up to new people, but once she is able to investigate, she loves being pet and cuddled. Candy Land's affectionate nature and lively personality make her as irresistible as the sugary treats she's named after. She's ready to bring a sprinkle of sweetness into a loving home, where every day will feel like a new and exciting game.

The first step to adopting a cat or dog from Animal Friends Alliance is to fill out an adoption questionnaire. You can do this online!

The next step is to pick out a cat or dog! Check out our adoptable cats and adoptable dogs for pictures and short descriptions or come into the shelter at our Taft Hill campus. We also have adoptable cats at many offsite locations.

Note: not all available cats and dogs reside at our campuses. Some are at off-site adoption partners or in foster homes. If you are interested in a particular cat or dog, please call our shelter at (970) 484-8516 to find out about their current status and location.

We do not ship animals. You are required to come and meet your new addition prior to adoption so that we can ensure a good match.

Please note that we will make a copy of the adopters’ State ID card, Driver’s License or passport at the time of adoption.

Animal Friends Alliance is a non-profit, adoption guarantee cat and dog shelter and low-cost spay/neuter clinic.
Our spay/neuter clinic performs surgeries on both cats & dogs, and we also offer low-cost vaccination clinics every week.

Our organization's goal is to do everything in our power to prevent euthanasia due to 'homelessness'.
