Amber is a 3 year old purebred Norwich Terrier recently released from a commercial breeder. She is a happy girl who is in awe of living indoors, having soft beds and blankets, and the freedom to explore the house and yard. She has not yet discovered how to play with toys but does interact with her foster canine brothers and will soon be romping and wrestling with the best of them.
Amber needs a patient and quiet home where she can continue to perfect her skills and thrive in her new-found career of a spoiled pet.
The suggested adoption donation for Amber is a minimum of $700 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs.Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts to an extended geographical area as long as we can locate a local volunteer to perform the required home visit. Approved adopters are required to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not arrange transport, or fly our rescue dogs without a "pet nanny". All of our dogs that come from a commercial breeding facility require a securely fenced yard AND a resident companion dog, unless the dog's bio states otherwise. Wag N Train Terrier Rescue was formed in April 2010 to provide tender loving care for terriers in need. We are a small, all-volunteer organization made up of uniquely talented individuals who all love dogs. Several of us are certified pet dog trainers and we hold weekly training sessions for the dogs in our foster care. In addition, we also teach dog training classes to the general public and offer a weekly small dog play group for supervised socialization opportunities.
