My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

PLEASE NOTE: All dogs on our website ARE available and require an approved Best Friend Pet Adoption application before you can be considered or meet any of our dogs.  The link to our application is:  https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=WHMSYCNC

Nova is a cute puppy who is the perfect combination of playful and snuggle buddy. She’s a little shadow who wants to be with you all the time. Nova gets  along great with other dogs and cats. She is looking for a home to call her own and hope you will consider having her join your family.

She is working on house training and doing very well.  As with all puppies, she needs to be taken outside on a regular basis to reinforce this training.  She has only had one set of puppy vaccines, so is still susceptible to disease.  She cannot  live in a home that doesn't have their own yard where she can be taken for her potty breaks.  She cannot go into any public area or common area for potty breaks. She therefore cannot live in an apartment until her second vaccine around the end of May. A townhome must  have a dedicated outdoor space.

EVERY DOG HAS A STORY:  Nova was part of a litter that was surrendered to a shelter when they were 6 weeks old. Best Friend Pet Adoption wanted to provide good homes for these sweet girls so admitted them into our rescue. We were told their Mom was a German Shepherd but if so, the Dad was probably a lab since the puppies look to be lab mixes.

Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed.  Applicants must live no further than one hour from Cary NC as our dogs must be seen by a BFPA veterinarian for all medical care prior to adoptions being finalized.  Any adopter must be able to come to the Cary area for future medical care until Astra is spayed at around 6 months.  BFPA covers the cost of all medical care until the adoption is finalized.

INTERESTED IN ADOPTING NOVA? If so, please fill out our dog adoption application by copying and pasting this link in a new browser window: https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=WHMSYCNC.
