Ernie is 3-year old Black-Mouth Cur mix. The breed is generally known to be even-tempered, loyal, and hard-working and we think Ernie fits the description. This boy is very friendly and already knows several commands. Ernie is a confident dog and got along well several different kennel mates. This handsome boy is a stocky 50 lbs. so he'll do best in a home that has some room for him to run and play. The adoption fee is $50 and before Ernie leaves the shelter, he will be neutered, microchipped, and up-to- date on vaccines.

Caddo Parish Animal Services is an open-admission shelter meaning no homeless animal is turned away. Our goal is to reunite lost pets with their owners and when that is not possible, find a new home for them, provided that they are healthy and not aggressive.
