Meet Eskie: A Sweet Soul Ready for a New Beginning!

Eskie is an adorable American Eskimo who has spent her life as a breeding dog, and now she's looking for a loving home where she can truly blossom. While she's still adjusting to the world outside her previous life, each day brings her closer to discovering the joys of love and companionship.

Eskie is in the early stages of her journey to becoming a confident, social girl. She's never lived in a home before, so everything is new and a bit overwhelming for her-especially sudden sounds and fast movements. Right now, she may freeze when picked up, but with patience and gentle encouragement, she's already starting to open her heart to affection.

Eskie will benefit from having a patient adopter who understands she's a work in progress. She's not yet leash trained and is working on potty training, so she'll thrive in a secure fenced yard with another friendly, social dog to help guide her. With time, love, and consistent care, Eskie will transform into a loving companion.

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.

Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.

Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.

Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
