Say hello to March! She has been patiently waiting for a new loving family of her own for a while now. She is one of the last remaining rabbits available for adoption from a special case MAC took on in August. She once lived with over 100 rabbits in a home! March is a shy but affectionate girl and warms up over time to her caregiver. Her favorite snack is of course fresh veggies of all kinds and she loves to lounge in a sunny warm spot. Ask to meet this sweet gal today!

Fill out a Meet Your Match questionnaire, spend some time getting to know the pet you are considering taking home, and talk to an adoption counselor.
Each animal will leave the Center spayed or neutered, vaccinated, heartworm (dogs) or FeLV/FIV (cats) tested, de-wormed, treated for fleas/ticks, given heartworm preventative if applicable and microchipped.

McKamey Animal Center in Chattanooga, TN, first opened its doors to the city’s homeless pets in July 2008. A leader in animal welfare both locally and nationally, the nonprofit shelter’s mission is to enhance the lives of companion animals and people by encouraging a culture of responsibility and compassion. As an open admission facility, the Center provides animal services and care for any animal in the city of Chattanooga regardless of age, breed, health, and temperament. McKamey has a number of thriving programs to benefit companion animals and people including adoption, foster, rescue, trap-neuter-return for feral cats, and humane education.
