Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Red, an adorable female mixed-breed puppy with a big personality! Red is sweet, affectionate, and full of energy. She loves to wrestle, chase, and play tug with her doggie foster sister. This natural leader can be a little bossy and protective of her toys, often growling at new dogs and cats at first. However, once she feels safe, she quickly warms up to non-threatening dogs, making her what we call "dog selective."
Red adores people and has never shown any concerns but seems cautious around small children, so a home with kids over 12 may be best. She's currently working on her puppy behaviors, like biting, jumping, and chewing things she shouldn't. Loud noises, like vacuums and garbage trucks, can scare her, but she's starting to adjust to everyday sounds.
Red is learning the basics: sit, down, crate training, and housetraining. Her favorite snacks include bananas (she loves them!), berries, and mangos. She enjoys walks, zooming around the yard, chewing on toys and bones, and, of course, belly rubs. Just be sure to keep your shoes out of reach!
If you're looking for a spirited pup who is eager to learn and grow with you, Red might be the perfect match!

Our dogs and puppies go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (7
months and over), and up to date on core vaccines, heartworm, flea, and tick
preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating
veterinarians.
