My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Artemis is an adorable, 9-month-old shepherd-husky mix. This pretty girl was adopted from the shelter but returned a few months later, because her adopter could no longer afford to care for her. Artemis is snuggly, sweet, and smart. She's still the perfect age to train and her breed mix suggests she'll learn quickly. She got along well with kennel mates and her previous owner reported that she lived with another dog and cats too.
As with all puppies, Artemis will need some patience as she learns the rules of her new home. If you're looking for an intelligent, beautiful good girl to join your family we think Artemis is a great choice!
Her adoption fee is $50 and includes her microchip and up-to-date vaccinations and since she's already spayed she's ready to start her new life today!

Caddo Parish Animal Services is an open-admission shelter meaning no homeless animal is turned away. Our goal is to reunite lost pets with their owners and when that is not possible, find a new home for them, provided that they are healthy and not aggressive.
