For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Bean is a sweet little soul who will love you so much. She wasn’t very well taken care of and lived on the street before the foster family we adopted her from rescued her so she can be quite timid, doesn’t really like being picked up too often and likes to stay to herself sometimes, but when she gets used to you, she loves to cuddle and loves belly rubs! She’s not really a lap cat but will curl up next to you (or sometimes on you!) if you’re laying down. She loves to sit and lay in windows, especially if they’re open. She’s around 6 years old. When we adopted her 3 years ago we were told she was between 2 and 4 years old so now she’s really between 5 and 7 years old. Her left ear is tipped because she was spayed during her time without a home and then released back to her neighborhood. She’s microchipped but she’s also not one to go outside so you won’t have to worry about her running out if the door is left open. I’m happy to answer any questions you may have.
