My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Truman: The Big-Hearted Aussie

Truman is a sweet and happy boy who’s ready to bring joy into your life! At around 3 years old, this lovable Australian Shepherd has already made great strides since coming into his foster home. After just two weeks, Truman is crate trained, potty trained, and thriving in his new routine.

This handsome guy is a bit bigger than your average Aussie, and he’s got an equally big heart to match! Truman is so thrilled to be loved that he can get a little too excited at times and may start chewing on things he shouldn’t—but he’s easily redirected to a toy and responds well to a firm "no." He’s already picking up on commands like sit and stay and is eager to continue learning.

Truman gets along wonderfully with his foster family's two dogs and is adjusting beautifully to home life. He’s a quick learner, sweet-natured, and so happy to be part of a family.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a big heart and an even bigger smile, Truman is your guy!

Go meet their pets

After being approved by a team member, you'll be able to schedule a meet and greet with the pup that best matches your needs.

All of our pets are in private foster homes and many times the meeting will happen in a safe public location.

All animals are available to begin their home trials once the meeting has concluded and the rescue agrees to allow the pet to move forward to this stage.
