-Mr. Moon man is, by most accounts, the perfect dog. His head? The size of the moon. His eyes? Ice blue and also somehow a beautiful amber. He is always, always just happy to be here. He snorts like a pig, can do an almost 180 degree head tilt, and will nuzzle his way into your armpit any given chance he gets. He loves to stretch, and you are required by law to exclaim “biiiiiiig stretch!” when he does so, and relishes a belly rub. At first, he was terrified of stairs (valid) and now climbs them like a champ! So, clearly he’s a genius and quick learner. Mr. Moon is a hilarious character.
-Like most planet-sized headed pitbulls, Moon wants to be with you. All the time. In the bathroom, on the bed, in the kitchen, where are you going? He wants to come. While not a fan of the crate (and does not currently use one) he eventually settles when in the home alone - but would be a dream for another dog-friendly dog. He’ll need some time to realize he’s ’home’ when you leave (and not about to be abandoned forever), so being patient and working on relaxation skills would be helpful! He loves to play and loves to cuddle - dealer’s choice, because again, he is just happy to be here. He plays extremely well with other dogs, and can also mind his own business when he’s had enough.
-Honestly, I’m pretty pissed that I (his current foster) can’t keep him because of my resident dog. He’s a dream - he would thrive in almost any kind of home, and is great with kids. Because he is fairly small in stature, there’s no worry he’ll knock anyone over (but his head does in fact have its own orbit). He loves to play with squeaky toys and chew on bones next to a warm body. Whoever gets to be his forever home will be extremely lucky.
