My story

Meet Felix, an adorable 10-lb, 5 month-old mini something mix who is ready to find his forever home! I am going to be a small guy!!!

Background: Felix was found as a stray with his brother, Edmond. Can you believe two tiny sweethearts survived alone on the streets in the middle of summer?

Personality: Felix is a bundle of joy! He is a curious guy who likes to explore. He loves to play with toys and other dogs before napping in his foster parent’s lap.

Health: Felix has been dewormed, neutered, microchipped and received his bordetella and first set of distemper/parvo vaccines. Our rescue will pay for his remaining puppy shots.

Training: As a young puppy, Felix is still learning the ropes. He is working on potty training in his foster home but will need continued training.

Ideal Home: Felix would thrive in just about any kind of home where he can get plenty of love and attention. He would do well with a family that has the time to continue his training and socialization. Felix gets along well with other dogs and would enjoy having a furry sibling to play with.

Adoption is a lifetime commitment. After an application and a verbal interview is completed and it is determined that the adoption is a compatible match, a contract is signed with specific guidelines. An adoption fee (usually between $250-$500) to help off-set medical, feeding and Rescue costs is collected. The contract states that at any time the adoption does not work out, the dog is to be returned to our Rescue group for alternate placement. The dog is not to be 'given away' or 'rehomed' or 'taken to the pound'. If there are other dogs in the home, they must meet prior to adoption. All family members in the household have to agree to the adoption. No dog is to be adopted as a 'gift'. No out of state adoptions.
