My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gema is a medium size terrier mix, 50lbs, but all muscle and she is very lean and athletic.
Gema was rescued a year ago, when she was a few months old puppy, from an empty lot in a busy intersection next to a highway. Her rescuer was so scared she was going to get run over. Her rescuer started feeding her daily on the way to work and on the way back to earn her trust. After a couple of weeks she was able to trap her using fried chicken.

Gema is very sweet, affectionate, friendly and playful but she is also shy at the beginning. She needs a little bit of time and to know she is safe to come out of her shell, but once she trusts you, she is very friendly. She is a really good doggie. She is fully vetted (spayed, microchipped, HW negative, up to date on all vaccines), potty trained, and crate trained. She loves going on walks and car rides.

Gema is patiently waiting in San Antonio for a committed foster or adopter to welcome her to Colorado. Please inquire with any questions and fill out an application if interested in Gema.
