Meet Duke, a delightful mix of Labrador Retriever and pure love! His passion for water is unmatched—whether splashing in a lake or frolicking under a hose, water is Duke's playground. An expert at fetch, he delights in bringing the ball right back to your hand, ready for another round.

Duke's gentle, playful disposition makes him a joyful presence in any home. He thrives on attention and reciprocates with boundless affection. Having faced abandonment, Duke does experience some separation anxiety and craves a stable, loving environment where he can feel secure.

With a heart full of love and a zest for adventure, Duke is the perfect companion for active families or individuals who embrace the outdoors. His Labrador heritage shines through in his enthusiasm and loyalty, making every day with Duke a new opportunity for fun and companionship.

Paws From Afar believes that all dogs should have adventures as often as possible, they need a change of scenery, smellery, new paths to explore or oceans to swim in. 

All dogs are up-to-date on all vaccines and will be altered when they arrive to you, The adoption fee is $400. If the pup is still listed, then they are still available. Keep in mind that we bring our dog up from the south and if you require a meet and greet, we are not the right rescue for you, we are happy to put you in touch with the pups fosters prior to adoption.
