My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello world my name is Brownie and I am a fun-loving fast-paced little dachshund Jack Russell mix girl that is looking for the perfect home that loves to watch a puppy do the zoomies and then snuggle for some nice nap time.   I was born to a litter of eight out in the country where no one knows what to do with puppies that they didn't plan on being born. Critter Calvary was very kind to take me and my sister Cookie and help us get healthy and spayed and all our shots and ready for families that love a small breed dog with a lot of spunk. I am a pretty little girl with some green yellow eyes that everyone makes a comment about. At 14 weeks I weigh 11 lb and I shouldn't be any bigger than 20 lbs when I grow up.   I love big dog small dogs cats kids and adults that are kind to me. I am ready to go to a brand new home and a brand new life.  Are you ready for that too? Maybe we can meet in the middle and you can take me home and we can have fun. Please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com right away!

PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Cavalry give them a chance to have a life?
