Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Caroline is a lovely dark tabby girl who had a challenging first couple of years of life surviving on her own. She was rescued from the street pregnant and hungry along with her sibling (Camille). Both Caroline and Camille gave birth to litters shortly after being taken in by Safe Haven for Animals. Sadly, among the litter of Caroline's four black kittens, only one survived (see Hope's profile).
Caroline has beautiful green eyes, and while she is still a bit timid, she is starting opening up slowly. She enjoys being petted very softly and her favorite thing is wet food. Her happy place is sunning in a warm ray of sunshine and watching birds through the window. Might you be the caring adopter who teaches Caroline how to trust and love people?

There is an application and fee required for adoption of our kitties. We begin with a phone interview. If that goes well then an appointment is set up for the potential adopters to come and meet our kitties. If one is chosen a home inspection is scheduled. If that goes well the darling kitty is delivered and a follow up call will happen a week or so later.

Please contact us at adopt@azshfa.org for information on our wonderful kitties. After a brief phone interview we can set up an appointment to meet our kitties at the shelter.
