My name is Captain!

Meet Captain, a gentle soul with a story of resilience. He arrived in rough shape-covered in scabs, with a large abscess on his cheek, and unsure about humans. But after much TLC, Captain has come a long way. Now, this low-key boy enjoys the company of other cats and will even approach you for attention, though he's still figuring out the whole "trust" thing. He can get a little overstimulated at times, but he's learning to relax more each day. Captain's recovery days in foster care turned him into a bit of a potato, so he's working on shedding a few pounds. He's calm, laid-back, and ready to find a home that will continue to help him blossom at his own pace!
