My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rizzo! This sweet pitty is searching for her forever home and ready to bring joy to your life. Currently recovering from mange, she's sporting a temporary pink hue-hence the name! Soon enough, her beautiful white coat will shine with adorable speckled spots.

Rizzo has a winning personality and gets along famously with both dogs and cats, often favoring her feline friends for playtime. She's gentle, eager to please, and always up for a game with her toys or a cozy snuggle session.

Obsessed with food, Rizzo does full-body wiggles at mealtime, making it a hilarious sight! She's also highly treat-motivated, which makes her a training superstar in the making. While she may be a bit shy initially, with some positive socialization, she'll thrive in new environments.

Picture her as your perfect hiking buddy, or joining you for a relaxing afternoon at a pet-friendly pub while you enjoy a drink! When she plays, she's all paws and belly scoots-pure entertainment!

Rizzo would thrive in a multi-pet home, ready to spread her love and charm. She would do best in a home without kids.

Who wouldn't want this delightful girl by their side? Apply to meet her today!

Additional adoption info

Please visit www.hopeanimals.org/adopt to learn more about our adoption process and to complete an adoption application.

Adoption Fee includes spay/neuter*, microchipping, up-to-date vaccinations, and current heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.

*If pet is not old enough to be spayed or neutered prior to adoption, a $50.00 credit will be paid to your vet at the time of surgery.

We require a veterinary reference for current pet owners, and pets must be up to date on vaccines and heartworm preventative. We meet potential adopters in their homes and introduce the pets to the family's current pets to see if it is a good match. A copy of our adoption contract can be requested via email.
