Hello, I'm Rosie. I'm an adult cat with a heart full of love and curiosity. I love to explore new corners and make myself comfortable in the coziest spots. I have FIV, but that doesn't stop me from being a joyful feline. I'm just as capable of giving and receiving love as any other cat. I'm sweet and friendly, always ready to greet you with a soft purr. You might find my curiosity endearing; I'm always eager to know what's happening around me. Adopting me would mean giving a chance to a cat that's different, but just as deserving of love. It's easy to adopt. Fill out an adoption application and contract. All adoptions include spay or neuter, vaccinations, de-worm, and rabies. All dogs receive obedience training during their stay here at the shelter and most go to their new homes already trained.

The Humane Society of NCA is a non-profit, 501C3 organization staffed by employees and volunteers. We house approximately 50 dogs and 50 cats. We have been the only Humane Society in Baxter County for 40 years. Our Humane Society receives no government funding and is supported by donations from our members and members of the community.
