Meet Mia,

Mia came to rescue from a hoarding situation and appears to have spent most of her life in a kennel with little freedom to explore. Even with that rough start, Mia likes people and wants attention. She will follow you everywhere and gives out little kisses. She likes being around the other dogs in her foster home and is super food motivated! She also has discovered toys and loves playing with them. She is estimated to be 10 years young (Yorkies are a long loved breed!) and is scheduled to be spayed and have a dental cleaning soon.

Mia loves being outside and will ask to go out. She is doing great on her house training with only the occasional accident. She is a smart girl and will have it figured out soon!

Her foster Mom says Mia likes to look at herself in the mirror and can't quite figure out stairs.

Mia is looking for a loving family that will help her continue to learn all the good dog things (you could take her for her first Pupcupâ¤ï¸). She doesns't walk on a leash yet or understand what a dog bed is used for! She will blossom with a loving family!

Once your 3 personal references and your vet reference is checked and we approve your application then a meet and greet is set up.

3.
Meet the Pet

If you and your family and your dog are a match then the contract is signed and you and your new family member go home.

More about this rescue

We are a small breed rescue mainly rescuing from local shelters in our area, puppy mill dogs, and owner surrenders

We have a community outreach program where an owner may not be able to pay for vetting for their dog we will have our vet assess the pet and help the owner with expenses.

We do a senior to senior adoption where we continue to cover the vet expenses for the dog and the adopter pays for the food and cares for the dog.

We also have a foster based hospice for any dog that our vet deems is not adoptable for medical issues. The foster takes care of the dog until it crosses over. All expenses are covered by the rescue.
