**Meet Mena: Your Future Best Friend!**

Hi there, I’m Mena! I’m a small but mighty Beagle, born on August 5, 2021. I weigh around 17 pounds (though my foster mom says I’ve been sneaking in a few extra treats lately!). So, let’s just say I’m currently embracing my *curves*.

House training? Well, I’ll admit I was a bit stubborn at first, but my foster mom is even more determined than I am! Thanks to her persistence, I’m making huge strides!

I live with five other dogs, and I absolutely love hanging out with them. Whether we’re playing with toys, zooming around the yard, or just lounging together for some well-deserved naps, I’m always up for a good time. My foster home has a fenced-in yard with a doggie door, which I love, and I’m also great on a leash – no pulling, I promise!

Cold Nose Warm Heart Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned dogs and cats from high-kill shelters. Through our network of committed volunteers and foster homes we are able to rescue, provide them with loving temporary care, and find them well matched, thoroughly screened forever homes. We also provide our adopters and the community with information on responsible pet ownership, including spay-neuter, training and good nutrition.
