Abigail (Abbie)
Abigail is a sweet, 7-pound, 2-year-old Chihuahua who was dumped with her puppies at a vet office and left there. Rompin Paws Rescue worked with the vet to take Abigail and find her an awesome forever family.
Abbie is timid the first 1-2 days with new people. She comes around with a very gentle approach without any expectations and a few treats. Once Abbie forms a bond, she gives her heart and soul to those people and is very loyal. She loves to be held close, cuddles, sleep with and on her person. She enjoys being talked to and is very intelligent. I tll her softly to stay and she sits. then I say up and she raches up for me to pick up and into my arms.
Abigail will do fine as an only dog if her person has time for her. She is not one to do well being left alone all day while her human works. Chihuahuas like to be where their people are. She will do best with someone or a couple who work from home, can take a dog to woprk or are younger retirees. Abigail does OK, with other small dogs, but really likes having a person to herself. Dog Savvy children older than 1o would be considered, but we prefer an adult only home.
