Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Darren Styles is an English musician and DJ whose 2022 hit “Come Running” contains the following verses:
“Hey, come a-running to me Hey, come a-running to me Hey, yeah, come a-running to me Hey, come a-running to me Oh, come a-running to me Hey, yeah, come a-running to me.”
Ok, maybe he’s not the most poetic lyricist (and a bit repetitive), but our adorable Darren Styles definitely shares the sentiment! Our Darren came to the shelter in pretty bad shape, covered in wounds, but our veterinary team got him all fixed up and ready for his furever home. Even when he was enduring medical treatments to tend to his wounds, Darren was known for his friendly, sweet, and easygoing nature.
Darren is also a volunteer favorite, with one volunteer friend sharing, “Darren is a very sweet and happy boy! He is very easy to leash in his kennel. He had a cone on, but he did not let that get in his way of smelling everything. He was easy to walk. When I sat on the curb with him, he got right into my lap! I could have hung out with him all day. I went to see him again today and was envious that another walker had already taken him out!”
Shelter staff also shared that, “Darren is easy to leash and walks well with little to no pulling. He’s very friendly and social. He solicited attention and allowed lots of handling- he wags with his whole body!”
Darren shares his kennel with another PACC pup and would likely enjoy having a furry friend in his future home. This sweet, sweet perfect adorable boy sure hopes that you come running to meet him soon!
