Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Goldfish, the big, happy kitten with a heart of gold! This lovable boy is full of life and affection. Goldfish adores people and is the ultimate in-your-face cat-he'll happily give you hugs and even ride on your shoulders! He gets along great with other cats, but it's his humans he really loves to be close to. Goldfish is immunocompromised and needs ongoing care, including steroids to prevent painful lumps in his mouth and antibiotics to manage his congestion (he's frequently a sneezey, snotty boy). He was treated for FIP as a kitten and will likely have chronic health issues, but that doesn't slow him down. If you're looking for a loyal, snuggly companion who's full of personality, Goldfish is your guy!
He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested FIV/Felv negative.
Goldfish is an FIP Survivor. He received 84 days of antiviral injections and passed an additional 84 day observation period. FIP is a mutation of feline coronavirus that can happen in some cats who have lower immune systems or who have a genetic predisposition. There is no continued care required after treatment. Most cats have been exposed to feline coronavirus and only a small percentage will experience a mutation. You can read more about FIP here: https://www.sockfip.org
Adopters will also receive an adoption package of goodies valued at around $100 if you visit one or both of our Petstore partners after adoption (Tabby & Jacks and All Paws).
Misfit Felines Inc is a foster based 501(c)3 rescue. All of our cats are in foster homes. The first step in the adoption process is to submit an application.
