Zella is a sweet and affectionate girl who absolutely loves humans of all ages. She's the perfect cuddle companion and will happily snuggle up with you for some quality bonding time. Zella can be a bit anxious, so she's looking for a home where she can feel secure and get plenty of love and attention.
Zella is food-motivated, making her eager to learn with the right treats! She's already crate trained and keeps her crate neat and tidy. Zella is pretty well potty trained, but if you ignore her signals and needs to go out, she will have an accident. She can be leash reactive, so she'll thrive with a patient owner who can offer consistency and positive reinforcement.
As Zella prefers to be the only pet, she's searching for a home where she can be the star. A fenced-in yard would be a great fit to give her the space to play safely. Although Zella loves people, we recommend a home without small children to provide her with the calm environment she needs.

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.
Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.
Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
