Meet Zella! Zella was a stray who ended up in a shelter in Missouri and was pulled on her last day. All the dogs there were to be euthanized the next day as the shelter had closed. What a blessing she has been.
This girl is the sweetest and loves her cuddles! As of now she enjoys just laying around and hanging with her people, as she doesn't seem interested too much in playing. She follows her foster mom everywhere she goes and has done really well with kids. She lives with a toddler. After a little whining in her crate, she settles down and has done pretty well.

She is still working on potty training and walking on a leash but is making quick progress. At first, she is a little hesitant when meeting strangers in her house but warms up quickly! She loves giving kisses and would be a great family dog. She gets along great with other dogs.

Zella gets spayed on Oct. 1, Tuesday and can be adopted that weekend.

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.

Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.

Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.

Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
