Samantha, lovingly known as "Sammy," is a sweet and beautiful female cat with a heart full of love to give. Before she found her way into our hearts, she arrived as a thin and malnourished soul looking for comfort and care. With our help and understanding, Sammy has flourished into a confident and affectionate feline companion. While Sammy may have had a rough start, she has shown immense resilience and affection towards humans. She thrives in the company of caring individuals who value her presence as part of their daily routines. Fun fact, Sammy is bilingual and responds to English and Spanish!

Sammy would do best in a home with adults that respect her space. She would thrive in a household where she is the only cat, since while in foster care she has been exposed to 4 other cats and prefers to keep her distance from them. She would not do well with dogs.

Sammy's most notable superpowers include her knack for finding hanging feet or hands to rub against and her charming habit of claiming everything with a gentle nudge of her head. Her distinctive feature is her lemur-like tail that always points up, with a mind of its own, adding to her unique personality. In her previous outdoor adventures, Sammy was a helpful and vocal presence, always eager to assist with kitchen chores, laundry tasks, or simply lounging next to her human.

You will be emailed a link to our online adoption contract. Simply fill it out online to transfer ownership from the rescue to you!

Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines. We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
