My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Nyx
Introducing Nyx!

Nyx is a handsome Shepherd mix who is approximately 8 months old and currently weighs 32 pounds. We rescued this little guy, along with his sister Echo from the Weslaco shelter in South Texas near the border of Mexico. These little cuties were found as strays and we are so happy to have them here to help them find their loving, forever homes.

Nyx is a typical happy, playful puppy! He is very sweet and enjoys romping around, exploring his surroundings with his sister here at the rescue. He is curious, social and enjoys being held. Nyx is having fun learning to play with toys and is very smart and cuddly.

We can really see him doing well in a home where he can get a lot of attention and playtime with his family. As with any puppy, we know Nyx would benefit from basic obedience training to help him learn good manners which will give him a good foundation to be the best puppy he can be.

He would be a wonderful companion to grow up in just about any family environment. We have no idea who mom and dad are so we can only estimate that Nx will be a medium-sized dog full grown. He is just a fun, happy puppy who can’t wait to find a home of his own!

More about this rescue

My name is Tracy. I started Tracy's Paws Rescue with my dear friend Rhonda Harmon. Texas has a lot of unwanted stray dog on the streets and in our shelters.
